In a sign of the times Kodak, a long time pioneer of the camera industry and the company that back in 1975 brought us all the first digital camera, has filed for bankruptcy. If you remember the world before digital camera’s then you’ll know Kodak and probably used their film on several occasions, but in this digital age Kodak has struggle to keep up with digital camera developments. Kodak was present at CES 2012 debuting a few new cameras to try to get some more buzz about its products but for the most part these products were left in the shadow of announcements of bigger companies like Nikon and Samsung, Kodak now has 18 months to restructure and find buyers for it digital patents to keep the business running.
